After graduating from ECP, Duc started his career with SITA , then Equant (Orange-France Telecom), where he managed large offshore projects, particularly in India. Observing strengths and weaknesses of various BPO countries, he realized Vietnam would become a key player in the BPO industry.

After a first experience in the Silicon Valley, Cao Phong joined Alstom Group as business controller with their Transmission and Distribution branch (which became Areva). This experience gave him the opportunity to manage costs of large industrial projects over the world, and particularly in Vietnam.
